Indonesian Horror Film

Have you ever watched Indonesian horror film? I am sure you have. When you watch it, what did you feel? Did you feel scary or not? Did you scream when you saw the ghost? Which part of film did you like? Out off those questions, there is something that likely to be pro and contra in human sight, it is about moral message of the film. Indonesian horror film was famous of its vulgar and hot acting. See the film Arwah Hantu Karawang, Kuntilanak, Pocong, Tali Pocong Perawan, Hantu Tiren, and so on. All of those films showed us some parts containing vulgar action. However, it was dangerous for the youth generation nowadays.

Actually, I am a lover of horror film. Nevertheless, I disagree for the more and continuing releasing Indonesian horror film, especially which based on porno action. For me, according to my experience, horror of Indonesian film is only the cover, but look at the content; it likes to show the porno action. In addition, the foreign actors sometimes rented to play in Indonesian horror film. Miyabi is the example. She is a Japanese hot actor. Her porno action was well known by many people in the world. Then raised the question, why did the producer rent her to play in Indonesian horror film? Is it because of her hot acting or because her beautiful face and body? Is it for the sensation in the film world of Indonesia? Whatever the reason, one thing I can conclude for the answer, it is because her hot acting. The producer thought that it would attract people attention to watch it, so he will get more spectators for his film. As a result, he will get the big income from his film production.

Beside porno action, many kinds of ghost in Indonesian horror film also the reason why I disagree for the more releasing Indonesian horror film. It only makes us scary. We imagine that the ghost is present. I felt it, after watching horror film; I am likely to remember the ghost in the film. I felt that the ghost still fly and fly in my mind. It also disturb my sleep, every time I try to close my eyes, I felt as if the ghost is in front of me. Maybe, you feel the same as me when you watch horror film or more crazy than I do. It based on each person’s feeling. The person with high imagination would feel the ghost was beside him or in front of him, right side, left, behind, all around him. In the opposite, person with a great brave would not feel scary and never been disturbed by the ghost he watched in the film. These are some negative effects of watching horror film.

To conclude, if you want to watch Indonesian horror film, I suggest you to choose and rethink to watch the one, because sometimes the cover of film is not contained the porno, but when you watch it, you would find some porno actions. This is my experience about years ago when I watched in the theatre. I forgot the title, but it very attracted and made me anxious to watch it. Unfortunately, when the film started, the porno actions appeared and consequently I left the film. I just felt regret and lose of money as I chose the wrong one. I think, my experience above is the lesson for me to be more careful in choosing film.
